There are 3 actions that are being recommended for businesses to consider:
 
1.  SBA Disaster Loans  (Apply through SBA website, has $10k emergency grant)
2.  SBA Payroll Protection Program (Apply through traditional bank...has 2x monthly payroll available as forgivable grant amount)
3.  Ask you banker about expanding your existing lines of credit, or other options for additional liquidity to help cover business shortfalls during the slow period.

It was announced over the evening that both parties had come to an agreement regarding the CARES Act for Covid19 relief.   There is a ton in the bill, but a relatively small section is devoted to SBA financing support for impacted businesses.

Recently a mortgage buddy told me there are 1000 things that can go wrong from the time a person starts to look for their home until they close.  There are so many humans using so many programs and hardware that what’s amazing isn’t the little hiccups but rather how often things go right.

The company financing life cycle...

Several years ago, I ran across this diagram of the financing cycle of startup companies on eandua.com and thought it was an elegant expression of where true seed stage capital fits in the overall scheme of our economy and the critical role it plays despite it's relatively small dollar amounts.
